4th of July decorations to show your American pride

Three cheers to the red, white and blue of our
American Flag.

Starting with Memorial Day, the last Monday in May (formerly May 30), then on to Flag Day, June 14,
and continuing on to the 4th of July, these holidays
are always decked out in the colors of the flag.

The traditional colors of our flag are used in many
4th of July decorations, as well as many parades,
political rallies, football and other games and places.

The American Flag is the perfect combination of colors
for their symbolism as well as beauty

Red signifies bravery and valor
White signifies innocence and purity.
Bue signifies justice, perseverance, and vigilance

The 50 stars on the blue field represent the 50 states
in The United States of America.

There are red, white and blue flags from at least 17
other countries.

The first official flag of 1777 had 13 white stars,
representing the 13 colonies.There are 13 alternating
red and white stripes also representing the 13 original colonies.

So let your decorations be red, white, and blue, fly the American Flag, enjoy the day, and by all means let the children help with the decorations and other things
they can do for their 4th of July holiday
