Celebrate July 4th in this great land of ours, the United States of America

July 4th, 1776 — Is the day we celebrate our own Independence day. On that day we became
The United States of America.

This was the great experiment. Could a nation with so
many rights and freedoms endure?

People said, "Is not a monarchy better? Or a dictatorship?"

But endure we have, and with all of our freedoms we
became the most powerful and envied nation the world
has ever known. And so we celebrate this 4th of July
Holiday.

It is no wonder that people are still coming in droves to
this great land of ours, where they have a chance to
escape political or religious persecution, and pursue
financial freedom.

At this time of war, we realize that freedom does not
come cheaply, but at great cost. As we celebrate, we
think of those who are in foreign lands, who may not
even come home.

Put out your flags and other decorations, and remember
that other July 4.

So whether you are celebrating quietly at home, at a
park for a picnic, having a barbecue at the beach or in
a backyard, and later watching fireworks in person or
on television, here are some ideas for you.
